Description: Buttered Rum is a holiday tradition, but in my house, we swap the rum for Bourbon. Also works well for parties doubled or tripled and kept in a crock pot!

Prep Time: 10 minutes
2 cups apple cider
4 tabelspoons unsalted butter (softened)
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1 cup bourbon
Bring Apple Cider to a simmer in a pan on the stove.
In a small bowl, mix together the butter, honey, cloves, cinnamon and ginger with a spoon until combined.
Add the butter mixture to the Apple Cider on the stove and whisk until combined.
Serve and garnish with cinnamon sticks.
