I love the citrus / fruit flavors of the Clyde Mays whiskey's and the Cask Strength is always a huge step above their other offerings.

Standard Michter's bourbon. Fine as a regular pour.

There is almost no burn, but let it air/open. It’s much drier than I thought it would be from the nose. You still get that Dickel mineral.

Super interesting finish! Large amounts of licorice. The candied sweet flavor bonds with it for a very long time with tabacco and sweet oak

suprisingly spicy for a wheater. Extremely well balanced and seamless transition from nose, taste and finish. The 107 proof carries the wood

Finish has long with lingering spiciness, though the sweetness is still recognizable throughout. It gives a gentle, warm Kentucky hug
